Today we’re releasing DeepSWE, a new standard for agentic coding benchmarks. On public leaderboards, top models often look relatively close in capability. DeepSWE shows where they actually diverge, reflecting the realistic experience of developers in their day-to-day work.↗

Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor are all great tools. They're also much more different than you think. I did a comparison of the three, but not in the usual way. I went deep on how they differ philosophically.↗

Automation is a lie. CLIs are over. The SaaSpocalypse is dumb. A year ago @danshipper came on the podcast to predict where AI was heading. He was remarkably right—including the call that everyone was sleeping on Claude Code. Dan has a unique lens into where things are going bec…↗

Chris Hohn did a 90-minute sit-down with Nicolai Tangen and then dropped an investor letter the FT got hold of last week. You’d think the guy who printed a record $18.9B last year would be doing victory laps. Instead he’s quietly rewiring his whole portfolio. My favorite takes…↗

We’ve automated every single thing we can @every with AI agents. And yet there’s way more human work to do than ever. We’ve gone from 4 -> 30 human employees since GPT-3. I wrote a report on the structural reasons: how AI makes expert competence cheap, why that drives up demand…↗

Computer use turns Claude into an agent that can operate real UIs. New blog post on making it reliable in production: getting click accuracy right, choosing thinking effort levels, keeping long sessions within context, and recording demonstrations Claude can replay: …↗

This is my sixth conversation with @GavinSBaker. As always with Gavin, the conversation covers a lot of ground, but we spend the most time on watts and wafers. We discuss: - Why the wafer shortage may prevent an AI bubble - Data centers in space (reframed) - Elon's Terafab and…↗

Had a lot of fun (really, actually) chatting with @kentlind on the Something Ventured podcast. We cover a lot of ground: the early days of seed investing (featuring folks like @jeff, @m2jr, @joshk et al), the state of seed today, Silicon Valley's "British invasion" (Kent's words,…↗

Krishna Rao is the CFO of Anthropic, and this is his first podcast appearance. He joined the company two years ago when run-rate revenue was about $250M. Today it is $30B. He has helped raise ~$75B and is responsible for the procurement and allocation of compute. I feel lucky w…↗
