the worst thing you can procrastinate on isn't your to-do list, it's your life. waiting for the right time. waiting for permission. waiting for somebody else. you'll be waiting forever. take responsibility. find something that won’t let you wait. and do it. you can't cram life.↗

Hot take: the most dangerous point in life is not the point of total failure but the point of moderate success. A failed man keeps throwing punches—his spirit is alive and kicking. But a moderately successful man is in the danger of trading potential glory for peaceful mediocrity↗

As you become an adult, you realize that things around you weren't just always there; people made them happen. But only recently have I started to internalize how much tenacity *everything* requires. That hotel, that park, that railway. The world is a museum of passion projects.↗

Doctors won’t make you healthy. Nutritionists won’t make you slim. Teachers won’t make you smart. Gurus won’t make you calm. Mentors won’t make you rich. Trainers won’t make you fit. Ultimately, you have to take responsibility. Save yourself. —@naval↗

Projects that yield great results often wouldn't seem promising to a rational person. Fortunately some people have a compensating irrationality: they're so interested in the project that they'll work on it for its own sake.↗
