Here’s, my setup: I use Mac OSX and run Claude Code in my home directory (~). I have a Claude.MD that tells it how to access important directories in my folder. I have different folders for memory, journals, ideas, code, to dos, memes, and scripts.↗

So Cursor zipped up the necessary files, and created a a clickable install dot sh file (at least for Mac, but one extra step for Windows) that installs the contents into whatever folder you want on your computer, and adds the appropriate json to mcp.json in Cursor. …↗
